Terre Caudine organic extra virgin olive oil is a product from organic farming which is characterized by a very low acidity (0.1%) and a high content of polyphenols and vitamin E.
The oil is obtained from the Ortice, Ortolana and Raccioppella olive varieties, harvested directly from our olive groves. The cultivation of olives occurs organically with the sole use of organic fertilizers.
The harvest at the end of October is followed by immediate pressing of the olives with the traditional cold extraction method, capable of preserving the organoleptic characteristics of the oil.
The olives are grown and harvested only and exclusively from our company's olive groves at the foot of the Monte Taburno Regional Park in Sant'Agata de' Goti.
The product has been certified since 2017 by Bioagricert, a leading body in Italy in the certification of organic and quality agri-food production.
The entire production chain is zero km; the milling takes place a short distance from our olive groves in the Diglio oil mill in Durazzano.
